LOUIS -VUITTON EBALLEUR STEAMER TRUNK WITH PRIVATE LABEL FOR du-Jockey -club
This trunk is from 1870's era. It has a private label made for the du-Jockey-club, also on the bottom right of the label it has the hand writing (imp deplanche, pas 67 du care) It has a signature on the bottom but I can't read it. It also has J.D.R on both sides of it as well as Louis-Vuitton ( see photo). This trunk has 2 trays and it has extra paper for the inside trunk. It also has L.V. on side handles. It has the Louis - Vuitton label on inside of top as well as the original ribbon still there. It is a great piece of history!!
