1M1800-11....as the new allen head reverse lever retaining screw.
IM1800-8.......reverse regulator spool o'rings. 2 are required. I may include 3 o'rings at my option. My picture shows 3 for that reason.
PT1800-3.......throttle handle gasket.
IM1800-15.....4 new allen head screws are provided. Replace the OEM screws and sparingly apply a small amount of blue loctite on those screws. A small amount goes a long way. Chase the tool housing threads in the bolt holes with a 6mm X 1.0 metric tap. The old lock washers are reusable.
IM1800-6.......air inlet bushing o'ring. I may add a second o'ring at my option.
IM1800-4.......throttle valve ball. I ship 2 for this item. The OEM mushroom shaped sphere is now an obsolete item from Snap On. This part when worn out causes the tool to operate uncontrollably when the air line is attached. The tool may also leak air through the exhaust if this polyurethane sphere is damaged. The black round balls I provide are my custom fix. There is a small precision drilled hole which indexes to the PT1800-20 valve pin (also obsolete). Plug the black round ball onto the throttle pin and use the tapered coil spring I supply as a matched pairing. DO NOT USE THE OEM SPHERE WITH MY TAPERED THROTTLE VALVE SPRING. ONLY USE THE OEM POLYURETHANE SPHERE WITH THE OEM SPRING. MY KIT ELIMINATES THOSE 2 PARTS AS A PAIRING AND MUST BE USED AS A PAIRING.
IM1800-6......tapered coil throttle ball spring. As mentioned above, my TAPERED COIL spring goes with the black balls I provide as shown in the avatar photos.
IM1800-2......o'rings provided for the obsolete PT1800-20 throttle valve pin (now an obsolete item). A single o'ring is used to seal the pin in the handle guide bore. Clean oil or light grease is recommended. If your PT1800-20 throttle valve pin shows excessive wear it should be replaced. I have a few IM1800 throttle valve pins to offer. I have no specs on the PT1800 pin length and it may or may not be compatible. If you need the pin contact me through eBay with length measurements. I will see if I can find something that works.
SPECIAL SERVICE NOTES
Be careful to adjust the new 4mm X 20mm long allen head screw (I provide) or the OEM torx head screw tightening torque applied to 2 foot pounds or 24 inch pounds. Over tightening of the screw will bend the reverse valve spool and cause it to bind, wear out prematurely and or leak air inside the trigger handle. Blue loctite is recommended on the head of the screw and very very slightly on the threads to prevent the screw from coming loose.
The steel detent ball and matching spring which allow the reverse lever to positively engage on the throttle handle are not shown in the drawings but are provided with the new reverse lever from my Blue Point PT1800 reverse lever repair kit. My repair kit supplies a total of (4) pieces so that you can discard the old reverse lever and replace it with all new kit parts. The spring and ball I supply are specifically added to this kit to work like a new unit should. If your throttle handle detent grooves are worn deeply and the ball and spring I provide does engage properly or the detent ball pops out that is not the fault of these OEM parts. Your throttle handle is excessively worn out. If that is the case before you think to slam me with negative feedback you might instead order my special modified repair kit for this issue OR the throttle handle will need replacement for substantially more money if one can be found. The reverse valve spool can be removed easily by pulling the reverse lever screw and lever from the handle. Attaching the air line to the handle, pointing the tool handle into some rags and then pulling the trigger often works to safely remove the spool for cleaning. Use 3M abrasive/polishing cloth to smooth the scratches from the spool. Clean oil and or grease applied to the reverse valve spool with new o'rings I provide should allow for sealing and free movement of the reverse valve once installed with the new parts I provide.
