 Heavy Brass Color Metal - Weigh almost 8 lbs each - Unsure of the. metal - looks like brass but no tarnish rubs off when rubbed . Could be a cast metal or a pot metal and brass in places - I am not certain

Cast Metal Center at back supports the weight of the Andiron with a screw and nut
