Waterman Taperite Citation fountain pen, 14k F nib, very good condition. The Citation was introduced in 1946, it came with gold or steel nibs, the colour of the clutch ring, gold or silver, referenced which nib. The steel nibs were quite industrial and awful writers and mostly replaced with the gold option. This pen came to me with a broken steel nib which I replaced with a resized Parker 14k flexy nib. The pen now writes perfectly with a wet flexy line. The pen has a new ink-sac. The section and feed have been ultrasonically cleaned. The pen is now filled with purple Diamine Edgecumbe ink, I love writing with this pen. This pen now works and writes perfectly.

The black barrel and cap shows some light signs of use with light surface wear. There are no cracks or deep scratches. The extra-wide cap band has one small ding. The Waterman clip and box lever have the very slightest of wear on the edges. The cap fits well but has a small rattle. The 14k F nib is very flexy and wet, ideal for fast flowing writing. The nib fits perfectly and firm. Overall this pen is in very good condition for its 75ish years and is wonderful and flexy, so ideal as a daily light writer and great for flowing writing.

This pen will be posted Royal Mail 1st class. I accept UK returns if you are not completely happy with your pen, no quibble. Please look at my other pens available now. Thanks for looking.
