DELUXE magazine  #1 1977

An incredibly rare early street fashion mag edited by Caroline Baker of Nova magazine (who coined the term 'street fashion'). A proto-iD fashion magazine that only lasted two issues but created the style and attitude that street fashion would follow.

Featuring the first ever editorial shoot of Vivienne Westwood's Seditionaries clothing by Ku Khanh. Radical stuff. Also features the infamous Carline Baker-styled shoot "Wild on the Side Walk". Stunning photography and style ahead of its time.

Also features a Peter Blake cover and interview, Transvestites in Sao Paolo, London at night, Streetwalking Shocking, first Star Wars film reviewed by Patrick Moore, Interview with Man Ray with Karsh portrait,

A piece of British fashion history and an incredibly rare and stunning magazine. An early precursor of what iD magazine would become.

This vintage magazine is in excellent condition. Flat and shiny. Incredibly well preserved. Please see the photos.
