Each Curtain 60 Inches Wide
Bespoke velvet curtains that have been created from my large collection of vintage velvet and other quality fabrics. Rope ties that have been purchased to complement the velvet. The poppy red is closest to 'RECTORY RED' from 'Farrow & Ball'.
The curtains are lined in a heavy brown and gold fabric. The lining is a beautiful feature and increases the weight and thermal properties of these curtains.
MEASUREMENTS
Drop ~ 87 inches / 2.21m
Width Per Curtain ~ 60 inches / 1.52m
Width Per Pair ~ 120 Inches / 3.05m
These would be suitable for a window measuring between 60 and 90 inches in width. The draped curtain is gathered to approx. 35 inches in the photographs.
ROPE TIE BACKS
The gorgeous new rope ties are included in the sale. These are new 'Houles' rope ties that complements the shade of the velvet. 'Houles' have the most gorgeous tie backs and trimmings ~ their website is well worth a visit.
These have been created from newly cleaned vintage velvet, lovely quality as is always found in the older velvet. Deep six inch header to ensure a lovely drape.
POSTAGE & RETURNS
The cost of posting to the buyer within UK are included in the final sale price.
All of my curtains are packaged in waterproof mail sacks and then a cardboard box. When auctions end on Sunday evening the courier collection will normally be Tuesday or next day with Hermes. Although I often use 'Next Day' or '24 Hour' services these are not guaranteed by the courier companies. My address is in Scotland so parcels heading to London or further south do normally take two days ~ regardless of which service I opt for!
I offer returns on all of my eBay items. If I make an error and send the incorrect item or have made an error in the description then I will ALSO pay full cost of returning the curtains.
All parcels are uninsured unless the buyer requests and is invoiced for insurance. This keeps the postage cost as low as possible while allowing EACH buyer to choose whether they want to pay for insurance or not. If a parcel is lost in transit then I will help in any way that I can to trace it. Please ensure that your eBay address is up to date and correct as this is the address that I will use for posting. I am happy to add notes to the parcel regarding delivery instructions / mobile numbers or to leave in a safe place BUT you must inform me of these as soon as you pay. I often arrange the courier as soon as I see payment received so the parcel will be posted same or next day.
