A fine antique English mother of pearl tea caddy from the late Georgian era-George IV. The coloring of the mother of pearl is of top quality and quite radiant, especially under bright lighting. This lovely box could also be used as a trinket or jewelry box. It has a push button that once pressed allows the lid to be opened revealing its lidded interior. Overall the box is in excellent condition, both inside and out. The exterior has normal wear from handling, some small scattered losses, light patination, etc. Please see all photos for condition and measurements. This is a brilliant box to add to your collection!
