The Monkee's 45~ Pleasant Valley Sunday\words **Looks Unplayed** Colgems 66-1007

Very hard to find in this condition. One of their very best releases.

There are several distinct differences between the 45 and LP mixes of this song, i.e. alternate backing vocals and in the song's fade.

The Monkees consisted of Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork. The Monkees were one of the most successful bands of the 1960s. They sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Pleasant Valley Sunday reached number three on the charts and was the Monkees contribution to 1967's Summer of Love.

Viewers of their TV show know that "Pleasant Valley Sunday" appeared twice during the show's second season: "The Picture Frame (The Bank Robbery)" episode and "Monkee Mayor" episode.
