  Allows  Pathe " hill- and- dale" and other vertical - cut groove records 

  to be played on a gramophone intended for standard lateral - cut  78's.

  

  Outlet  tube suitable for an  HMV or Zonophone  goose - neck tone - arm

  that would normally  be fitted with  " Exhibition " , HMV No. 2 or No. 4

  sound-boxes , or sound-box with same size outlet tube .

  ( The Diamond outlet tube is a push fit  over  the HMV goose-neck )
