Antique carved and inlaid wooden figures of the deitys Lao Tzu and Sun Tzu riding on a water buffalo's. The figure is shown astride the animal with his body turned to his left side other to the right. A decorative scroll pattern inlaid in bronze covers the body of the water buffalo and the robes and hat of the rider. The water buffalo is standing on an integrated base, which possibly represents water. Pair of Chinese sculptures are very rare even to have the pair
