For sale is a lot of 53 New Old Stock HAMILTON sand ceramic resistors, still in the original plastic storage box, with Cross Reference Guide to other manufacturers' products.  The box is Kit No. 750, and indicates an  assortment of 56 resistors, but it appears that possibly 3 resistors have been removed from the assortment.    They were manufactured by Hamilton-Hall, Inc., Milwaukee, WI.  They were left in my late father's electronics inventory, and were stored in a smoke-free environment.  They are NOS.   We did a sample testing of 7 of the resistors, and found they all tested well.

On the 200 ohm scale:
85 ohms tested at 86.1 ohms, within 1.4%
10 ohms tested at 10.8 ohms, within 8%
125 ohms tested at 132.6 ohms, within 6%
400 ohms tested at 394.0 ohms, within 1.5%

On the 2,000 ohms scale:
400 ohms tested at 394.0 ohms, within 1.5%

On the 20,000 ohms scale:
2,250 ohms tested at 2,210, within 1.8%
2.5K ohms tested at 2.44 ohms, within 2.4%
6.8 oms tested at 6.58 ohms, within 3.3%

I hope that's a good enough sample. All are within the standard 10%, and more are under the 5% tolerance.  Based on that we feel the rest would also test well.

In addition to the resistors themselves, there is a very nice Cross Reference Guide for the Hamilton resistors to the similar models of other major manufacturers.  (see photos).   The guide indicates that these are the most-used in television sets.  There is a reference sheet at the bottom of the box which indicates which resistors are included in the kit.   There is a copy inside the box, as well, which I'm guessing is for your personal reference of which resistors you have removed.  I see one is checked (see photo), so I'm guessing that one is gone.  From the way the resistors are laid out in the box, I am guessing 3 are missing.  (I counted 54 resistors, but after re-stacking, it appears I may have miscounted.)

I hope that these are resistors you would love to have in YOUR vintage electronics inventory, handy for your electronics restoration projects!   (Check out my other listings of vintage radio and TV electronics components...  I'm always glad to combine shipping!)

Thanks for looking here!!
