THIS IS AN OLD ONE. Not made in the 1970's. I would date this to the middle to late 1930's. It has some clock makers/maintenance marks from the early 1950's. I dont believe Germany made cuckoo clocks during the 1940's (WW2).
ANTIQUE cuckoo clock. AUTHENTIC, ALMOST ALL WOOD, AND FROM GERMANY. Although it is hard to see, it is stamped "G.M. ANGEM".
Hunter type with figures.
20" tall from the top to the bottom of the pendulum. 8 3/4" at its widest.
Some signs of age on body. Some scuffs and paint loss. One missing chain and some digits. It still has its back door, weights, and original pendulum! Will need adjusted, oiled, worked on. Not fully tested. Selling for repair.
IF YOU FIX THIS ONE UP A LITTLE YOU HAVE YOURSELF A $400 CLOCK! Only due to its age and that it is a hunter.
