Here's one of the nicest examples of a Disston No2 saw vice I've ever seen.

It's totally original, no broken cast that's been welded up, no replacment clamp screw or any of the usual flaws.

The No2 vice is a great vice for finer saws, it's lighter in weight than other vices as the castings are largely hollow shapes. Ideal if you move your tool chest around often and the weight of a heavier vice would be a disadvantage, it does limit the capability of the vice to fine panel saws and back saws really though as filing any teeth coarser than about 10tpi will have a tendency to vibrate a bit. For backsaws though, it's the perfect vice, especially as it tilts back allowing for easier filing of sloped gullets.

I've got others listed, there are some that've been repaired, some heavier than this and some i've restored, but if you're looking for a very nice original condition one, this is it.
