This original vintage British political cartoon drawing from 1946 depicts a humorous take on world economics and politics. It is signed as a monograph that I cannot make out at the lower left and dated "17-12-46" The drawing features a caricature of a politician dressed as a young girl buying eggs in a market, with the title "I'm Puttin All My Eggs in One Basket" and the  "This Little Terry went to Market" with the basket labelled "Croydon", clearly making a reference about the world economy, as the "Best Imported Eggs" are from Africa, India, China and Jamaica, all former British colonies. The ink and watercolor hand-drawn piece is unframed, painted on cardboard.   The signed drawing, with monogram initials, is one of a kind and showcases the artist's unique style of satirical illustration or cartoon style . This original British Post-War era  cartoon drawing with lyrics is a satirical political cartoon that expresses the artist's perspective on the vintage world market view.
