An antique Chinese porcelain coffee/chocolate pot, 18th-century, probably Yongzheng period (1723-1735).

It is white porcelain with a gold hand, painted Chinese landscape design on a conical shaped body, a domed top cover and a loop handle. There is a band of gold and copper red chain design to the top of the coffee pot and to the edge of the lid.

There is an antique metal staple repair to the bottom of the loop handle ( in itself, a skilful antique art form!) which feels very stable and there is a small chip under the lid base. There is quite a lot of rubbing to the gold design. The spout looks in good condition and there are no other chips or cracks or crazing. Please see photos. Size is approximately 23 cm high bye 12.5 cm base diameter or 17 cm at its widest point.

This is a rare item and a fantastic example early 18th century Chinese porcelain.

Will be packed with care and insured.
