Old Master circa 1800  Original Double-Sided Drawing Cupid Escaping Psyche, (Psyche and Eros) and portrait of young child on verso. It is ink and white paint on blue paper. Paper has a watermark on it. This is done in a Neo-Classical style and could be from the late 18th century to early 19th century.

Cupid and Psyche: is a Classical mythological story originally from Metamorphoses (also called The Golden Ass), written in the 2nd century AD by Lucius Apuleius Madaurensis (or Platonicus). Source: wikipaedia 2024

Condition: Excellent condition. Blue paper is slightly faded at border. Please see photos
