Martin 00-18SH Steve Howe Signature 1999

Limited edition of 250 pieces of Steve Howe's signature model.

This is the signature model acoustic guitar of Steve Howe, who was active as a guitarist in the leading progressive rock bands such as Yes and Ageia.

His 1953 Martin 00-18 was the centerpiece of Yes's acoustic numbers.

The 00-18SH is based on the 00-18.

This is the 24th one from the 24/250 notation.

Body is Ingleman spruce, side back is mahogany

Neck is mahogany, fingerboard and bridge are ebony

Approximately 632 mm scale with 14-fret joint, 20 frets, and scalloped X bracing.

Neck is round C shape with comfortable grip and long saddle specification

The small guitar is characterized by a deep resonance and has a sparkling sound different from that of the regular 00-18.

The small size of the guitar makes it easy to handle, and the sound is rich in overtones for fingerpicking and strokes.

The 19th and 20th frets are inlaid with Steve Howe's name.

The guitar has a very useful Martin sound, and only a few of them are available.

The condition of the neck is flat.

There are scratches, dents, and dull parts due to use.

It is believed that the nut has been replaced and refretted.

There are repair marks on the back bracing.

String height is about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string and about 2.0mm on the 1st string.

The truss rod has room to tighten and loosen in both directions.

The frets are about 90% full, and there are no parts that are low.

There is no chattering or clogging.
