These beautiful cotton velvet curtains are new and in immaculate condition. These have never been hung ~ photos are of a matching pair. The velvet is a greyish green shade ~ similar to the font used in this listing and Farrow & Ball's ‘card room green’. These were very hard to photograph so I have added photos of some green and grey 'Dulux' and 'Farrow & Ball' paint charts. These are not grey, and I hope that by placing the grey paint chart alongside the velvet, that this is helpful. 

MEASUREMENTS

Drop ~ 100 inches / 2.54m

Width ~ 55 inches per curtain / 110 inches per pair

 Once gathered one of these pairs would be suitable for a window measuring up to 83 inches / 2.11m in width. The pole in the photographs is 70 inches long to give an indication of their width and gather. 

CONDITION

Perfect condition. Please note that the rope tie is only a single and therefore not included in this sale. These are cotton velvet, medium weight and unlined. If you are looking for heavy, insulating curtains then I would recommend that you view some of listings for vintage velvet curtains.

POSTAGE

The postage within UK is included in the final sale price. All of my curtains will be sent in waterproof mail sacks and a cardboard box. When auctions end on Sunday evening the courier collection will normally be Tuesday or next day with Hermes. Although I often use 'Next Day' or '24 Hour' services these are not guaranteed by the courier companies. My address is in Scotland so parcels heading to London or further south do normally take two days ~ regardless of which service I opt for!
