These funky Danish Modern figures come to you estate-fresh from a stately Greenwich, Connecticut home we recently liquidated.  

This lot consists of three (3) vintage silver-plated Dansk animal figurines / paperweights.  Included are stag, giraffe and a polar bear. The tallest of these weighty pieces is the giraffe, which stands approximately 4-1/8 inches tall. If you need additional measurements, please ask. These would be a neat addition to a collection of vintage Dansk Design / Danish Modern items.

Underside markings:

GIRAFFE and POLAR BEAR - "Dansk Designs Japan - GC (c) - E.P. Zinc".  The GC indicates the designer Gunnar Cyren.

STAG - "Dansk Designs Japan - (c) SO".

The pieces are vintage, but the exact age is not known to me (perhaps 1960s?). The composition of the pieces is silverplated zinc (electroplated).  These animals look to be in very good overall condition, with light general age wear. They have not been polished (not by us anyway).  Enoy!
