Vintage Homer Laughlin Century shape 9" Oval Baker Bowl in the hard to find Gold Garland pattern and with a green stripe in the Century shape! Beautiful Ivory Vellum Glaze with Gold decal lines and the Gold Trim Garland & Gold Daisies Decal along with an inside green line. This is the epitome of Art Deco Style, Simple Elegance, and highly desirable. 

Century was introduced in 1931 and ran until the late 1940s. This is truly an important piece for the Homer Laughlin Collector - this is the Century Ivory Vellum Glaze. The Century shape was developed in 1930. On February 2, 1931, Frederick Rhead noted in his journal: Finished modeling Century Square shape with Vellum glaze. Samples shown at Pittsburgh show in January. Numerous trails of Vellum were made in the then new Century shape as well as Wells.

Measures approximately 9 1/4" long by 7 1/4" wide by 1 3/4"  high.

Condition: Excellent preowned vintage condition. No chips or cracks or crazing. Pristine condition. Very small factory flaws present such as sand bumps, glaze pops, or slight glaze misses possible on these pieces. Gold garland decal  and green line is bright with little to no wear.
