inspired by the amazing, throaty, musical classic wah, the maestro boomerang. real boomerang wahs are hard to find in good working condition. Gagan has solved this problem- but with added flexibility, while retaining the awesome original 60s/70s tone. GET one!

-no more onboard crappy plastic jacks, we've upgraded to real REAN ' better than switchcraft" open frame jacks. RAD! same 50 year durability of the best 60s pedals.
- chassis mount power jack, no more junky PCB mount power jack, which was problematic in wah shell due to depth of hole.
-100% stronger double bottom plate with special battery door.
our BEST drop in kit for the common dunlop wah shell ('89 thru 2021). will also fit older crybaby and vox.
boomerangs have an extended mid range that is very vocal, & a sweet top end that never hurts your ears. this kit has it!

- military grade RV4 spec wah pot with correct audio taper for boomer like feel and tone.
NO BUFFERS in or out. vintage wahs did not have buffers, we think they wreck the tone. if you are running a fuzz after wah, contact us with a note listing your signal chain, we can advise, we have solutions for this.

- 3 position dipswitch for frequency selections, up to 7 combos.
these trims and switches make the wah fully adjustable for volume matching and full growl. this allows you to tailor the response to any pickups or guitar, bass ,etc. ~~~anything from stock boomerang sweet watery sweep all the way to swampy, nasty growl is all available in the settings. feel free to contact us anytime for help in setting these if needed.

IMPORTANT BUILD INSTRUCTION:
CHASSIS mount power supply jack - YOU MUST ENLARGE existing gcb95 power jack hole to 11 mm for this. first 10 buyers get a free titanium step bit for this , free bonus. when installing jack, make sure the notch is pointing toward wah bottom as seen in photo above.
OPTIONS:
*-$20 upgrade - Gagan handwound SOD replica inductor. sounds incredible in the boomer circuit. More Q, better clarity, more harmonic content than the red fasel.
- LED OPTION , only $15- just message us at checkout for the LED/3pdt add-on: clear lens superbright 3mm orange LED mounted directly in front of footswitch. you will need to drill a 1/8" (3.2mm) hole .please send a message at checkout to add this option- we will invoice the $15 add-on.

- note, some of the caps and resistors in your kit may not match the photo components exactly. we have changed values on a few parts since photos were taken. HOWEVER - be assured, we never substitute a lesser quality part than the ones pictured.

fits all dunlops with the circuit-board mounted jacks, and later dunlop made voxes with same type board. as long as your board looks like the one in our picture, it WILL fit. please contact us with any questions ,we are always happy to help.
NOTE: if you have a 90s,2000s dunlop made vox wah with no power jack hole, this kit will still work with no modding. just ignore the power jack, no problems.
NOTE: this kit will NOT fit vintage boomerangs, or crybaby wahs made before 1988.

tuning notes:
set trimmers in this order:
1. bias. should be near full CW for 60s boomerang tones.
2. pre vol
3. body ( this sets the mids. stock boomer is 1/3 up from full CCW )
4. vol 1. match your bypass tone , or set a little higher like some players prefer.
dipswitches are progressive,
stock is # 1 only
a little deeper is 1 & 3 on, next deep is 1 & 2 on, deepest is 1,2,3 all on.
thinner than stock is 2 & 3 on, super thin is # 2 only.
the above is good if the growl factor is already where you like it.
if you want more or less growl than my stock tuning, set the BIAS before changing the dipswitches.
set gain AFTER Bias, and VOL last for overall volume setting.
handy tip: there is a unique treble bleed in the faux boomer input section. similar to a treble bleed on the guitar volume
special note on spectrum enhancement using the treble bleed function:
to activate MORE treble bleed, turn gain DOWN and pre VOL UP. this lets more highs sneak in around the gain trimmer, straight to the circuit. it adds more spectrum to the entire range,it isn't just for more treble. one possible downside is, with high gain going INTO wah, you may hear too much high end in your heel down position.
