Stunning knee length cocktail dress made in 1980s.

The bodice is made from black cotton velvet, and is closely fitted, with a sweetheart neckline, dropping to a low V at the back.

Long mutton sleeves, tapering to a narrow cuff where they fasten with covered buttons.

The bodice comes to a lower point at the front and back, and has a full gathered skirt made from flame coloured taffeta, with a black velvet band at the hem.

It has a green net underskirt for added volume!
