Buffalo Forge No. 15 Drill Press, 3 Handle lever with original wood ball end grips that came off when of the best units I have ever tested and functions as originally intended. Gear teeth are in very good shape and actuated the quill/spindle assembly appropriately. Central hub is solid. The levers have been painted over and I did not remove from hub for fear of damaging the shafts. All the paint needs to be removed in order to get the levers out of hub. The ball ends are original to unit and have some cracks / chips that are detailed in pictures. One crack goes through to both sides of one knob. Other handles have small cracks/wear pictured. All of the handle knobs can be repaired. Gear shaft is approximately 1 1/4” in diameter and has a .445 diameter end to receive spring winding housing. I was told that the entire drill press was repainted to inhibit rust many years back and stored in basement since then. If you can get by the paint, everything on this unit is perfect for restoration as the applied paint is falling off. Please see my other listings if you need any additional parts for the No. 15. The last picture shows lever on fully assembled unit and is for reference only. Please see pictures for complete detail of overall quality, features, and notes mentioned above.
