This gently used TEST PRESSING lp is the original 1977 first pressing of the ELP album titled WORKS VOLUME 2. This was released by Atlantic Records, #SD 19147, Stereo. This is the rarest pressing of an album, pressed even before WLP (white label promos). The cue sheet, dated September 19 1977, with all the pertinent info is taped onto the front of the jacket. The album was pressed and mastered by Presswell Records, #STA 773933-B. That number is also in the matrix trail off area on both sides of the vinyl. Also imprinted in the trail off is Atlantic Studios D.K. This is a very high quality pressing of this album. See the pics for further details. The jacket is in fair to good condition with some marks, dings, scratches & yellowing of the white paper in spots and it has lightly dinged corners (this is 47 years old as of this writing). There's a name written on the upper left front corner in blue ball point pen ink. The cue sheet is in fair to good condition and it's faded quite a bit. But you can still read all the info. It's wrinkled on the right side and taped top & bottom. The vinyl is rated VG to VG+ at the minimum and is clean & shiny on both sides. There's barely a couple of marks on the vinyl when angled under a strong light. I see a few small fingerprints under the light at the beginning of each side. The collection this lp came from had been well kept and in very good condition. I don't have the equipment to play test the album. I'll repeat, this is examined under a strong light using the naked eye & a magnifying glass. JUST BE AWARE OF THIS INFO WHEN BUYING THIS LP! The original plain white paper generic inner sleeve is in good condition with yellowing around the edges from decades of aging. THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
