This is a vintage 1988 Wizard of Oz plate that was issued by the hamilton Collection to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the classic film. The plate entitled 'The Witch Casts a Spell' features the actress Margaret Hamilton, as the Witch, and a Flying Monkey looking at Dorothy, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion (Judy Garland, Bert Lahr, and Jack Haley) through a crystal ball.

The color and detail on the plate are fantastic! There is even an etched golden 'Yellow Brick Road' on the outer edge of the plate. The plate is hand-numbered on the back  '0549A' in gold ink.
