You are buying two authentic 2014 New Orleans Mardi Gras bead necklaces with a medallions from the Krewe of Tucks (KoT) in good condition and also come from a "smoke-free" home.  The KoT parade theme for 2014 was "Livin' the Sportin' Life."

These two New Orleans Mardi Gras medallion/necklace throws from the KoT were made in 2014.  The Mardi Gras necklaces measures 19" long (from the top of the necklace to the bottom of the medallion) and have shiny metallic colored plastic beads.  The medallions (at the bottom of the necklace) are made of soft, light "puffy" type foam.

The first medallion is suspended by green metallic colored beads and features the iconic Superman symbol, except it's in yellow and features the letter "T" (for Krewe of Tucks) in a "wood brown" color and measures about 3.5" tall by 4.25" long and about .25" thick.

The second medallion is suspended by purple metallic colored beads and features a red Valentine heart with the word "Tucks" in black in the center and measures about 3.25" tall by 4.25" long and about .25" thick.

The reverse sides of both of the medallions are blank.

Iconic KoT Floats:

History of the KoT

"Tucks began in 1969 as a group of Loyola University students applied for a parade permit.  The club takes its name from Friar Tuck's, an Uptown New Orleans local gathering hole and pub, where two college students decided to create their own Carnival krewe after unsuccessfully trying to become white flambeaux carriers.  The parade has grown from a small nighttime parade of pick-up trucks and boats pulled on trailers, into a procession of major proportions.  In 1983, the parade became a daytime event and in 1986 the parade route finally stretched to downtown.  Past Grand Marshals include a person sporting a Bart Simpson costume, film maker Spoke Lee and members of the NFL's New Orleans Saints. Past Kings include John Candy and Eugene Levy.  Notable riders have included The Blues Brothers, WWF Wrestlers, MTV's: The Real World New Orleans Cast and Rob Drydek, from MTV's fantasy factory."
