This listing is for a vintage car badge. This emblem is for a Volkswagen(VW) type 3. This is a script style emblem. This logo would serve as a rear name plate. If I am not mistaken this emblem would be suitable for type 3s made between 1961-1966. This logo is an original OEM part. It’s MPN is 311858687C. It has a chrome finish and measured approximately 12 Inches in length. Please note: this emblem is made of cast aluminum and is extremely mailable/bendable. Literally holding it on one end unsupported is enough for it to bend under its own weight. This item will be taped tight between pieces of carboard. I CANNOT GUARANTEE THIS PIECE IS TOTALLY "straight“. The emblem is in good condition and the photographs are an exact representation of condition.
