Details of this set:
6 ( six ) German or maybe Austrian soldiers from WW1
The kneeling & shooting soldier was made by DJ MINIATURES LEAD TOY SOLDIERS MADE IN PHILADELPHIA
One figure has the pointed Pickle style helmet " Pickelhaube " the others have the then more modern steel pot helmets that are camouflaged except for the figure laying down and firing.
The figures with the round bases "may" possibly be by the: TOY ARMY WORKSHOP Does anyone know for sure?
Some of the figures are painted in the style of LANCER MILITARY TOYS SOLDIERS, possible as UHLAN LANCERS or some may be some of the Tommy Atkins range made in England by J.D Turner.
Some of the bases have an "A" and what looks like a trademark of an I over M, IM or M over M, MM or a DJ's '95
One figure has no markings on the base that we can see
Some could be Monarch Miniatures ( MM ) or similar named brands.
Approximate Sizes & Scale:
Figure measures about: 54 mm So.. basically: 1/35 ( 1:35 ) or 1/32 ( 1:32 ) scale or such like
They will come in the foam lined Fusilier box that's marked for June 6th. 1944 D-day Limited 50th Anniversary Edition that's shown and is supposed to be for some British Infantry, set 004 of only 500 made. This is how I got them, so maybe someone out there could use the set box for the right figures in any case.
