The inlet and outlet on this intercooler are located at a 90 degree angle for cramped installations.
Air-to-water intercooler systems can be more effective than air-to-air systems. 
There's less of a pressure drop through the core in air-to-water intercooler designs than there is with an air-to-air setup. 
It can be placed anywhere in the engine bay, which is crucial for maintaining efficiency through the system. 

Note:
Liquid to air intercooler setup requires several components like the core, a water pump, a heat exchanger (radiator), and an optional reservoir. 
Professional installation is highly recommended.
