Description

Builder's Edition K14ce was introduced in 2018 to celebrate the debut of V-bracing when it was introduced.

Silent satin finish with Hawaiian koa side back in used consignment.

Builder's Edition K14ce features.

The Builder's Edition K14ce was created to commemorate V-bracing in 2018, a revolutionary year for Taylor.

The feature is the paint, especially the Silent Satin Finish.

This is a more glossy and muddy look than the painted satin finish, which is achieved by applying more coats of paint.

It will only be a feature as the appearance of the paint, but the characteristics of the sound is quite large,

by using this painting method,

The sound becomes mellow, with low treble and calm, heavy bass coming forward.

K14ce is made of Sitka spruce on the top and Hawaiian koa on the sides and back,

The beautiful grain is the biggest feature of K14ce.

The beautiful wood grain is the most important feature of the K14ce.

The contoured finish is a process of shaving a part of the body to make it easier to place the arms,

The contouring process is not so much a feature of the instrument, but rather the uniquely Taylor-like technique used to achieve it.

Even Taylor, a company known for its rational and basically precise machine production, could not produce this contouring process by machine.

The smooth texture of the contoured area is a characteristic of Taylor's unique technology.

The smooth texture of the contoured parts is the result of the craftsman's skill.

Sound Features

The Taylor is characterized by its all-around playability,

This K14ce is not rough like a normal Taylor, but is very careful and has a mellow sound.

The sound from this silent satin finish is a sound that is unparalleled by other makers,

It is a sound that can be differentiated from other guitars.

Taylor's pickups are excellent, so it is hard to distinguish them from the live sound even when connected,

I even have to turn my ear to the amp to make sure it sounds right.

This is the brand that professionals use in the field, and it shows great power in live performances and recordings.

[Item Condition.

The neck is within the acceptable range of original float, not enough to fix.

The string height is 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2.0mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret.

There are 3 small dents and scratches on the back of the body and the right side.

The scratches are quite small, so we are declaring them for those who are concerned about them.
