** The 1967-78 Eldorado wheel covers are unique in the car world.....they are designed to fit over the wheel rim that has a huge offset due to the front wheel drive design. Therefore NO other front or rear wheel drive hubcaps will ever work on the Eldo...just the original factory ones.**
WHEEL COVER RATING CONDITION: Grade A levels= Pretty Good (A--), Very Good Condition (A-) / Near Excellent (A/A-), Excellent (A). Grade B levels= Driver grade -- good/presentable shape (B+, B++), average condition/fair condition (B). The "B" Grades will have more visible damage than "A" Grades.
ORIGINAL YEAR OF USE: 1974-1975 Eldorado (Fits all 1967-78 Eldorado FWD 15" steel rims).
ITEM CONDITION: This auction is for ONE wheel cover in Grade "A" condition, per the ranking scale listed above. This quality range is considered "EXCELLENT".
EXCELLENT CONDITION wheel covers have great visual appeal with barely any imperfections (outside of very light wear & tear). This wheel cover was disassembled, deep cleaned and gently polished. It now has an OEM fully color-restored Crest, which looks bold and beautiful (as it should!). It also also has a very shiny OEM chrome wreath. Specifics below.
NOTE: Everything on the wheel cover is in Excellent Condition. This includes the Perimeter Outer Rim, the Spokes, the Outer Center Crown, Crown Face and the Retaining Tabs (on the backside). Just some light wear and tear scratches are faintly seen when holding it in your hands, won't notice that when mounted on the car. If you need a PREMIUM 50 year old wheel cover for your Eldorado - you just found it.
The wheel cover was test mounted on an Eldorado rim and fit decently. All of my wheel covers have been professionally cleaned to remove tar, oils, road grime, brake dust, etc..... A dirty and stinky wheel cover will NOT be coming your way! Mounting tabs are also neutral adjusted as well.
Keep your expectations realistic, this is a 50 year old wheel cover with lower than average use characteristics.

NOTE: This is an old-school wheel cover! You may have to bend some of the retaining tabs to get it to fit perfect on your steel wheels....especially if you have balancing weights. This wheel cover will fit any 1971-78 Eldorado with the stock factory 15" steel rims. Cadillac never offered anything else but that rim back in the day.
