  • If there is anything wrong with the order let me know as soon as possible.
  • It is best to videotape the opening of the package for the process to go smoothly
  • During warmer and colder months I advise picking your order up at the post office. If you would rather it shipped to your door let me know at checkout.

  • Shipping takes place Mondays and is $10 dollars
  • This is mainly to cover materials and the cost of gas to take packages to the post office, We are off the grid and it is quite the journey.
  • We do our best to keep the cost as low as possible so bear with us.

About Us

  • We are an off the grid operation using only sustainable energy and resources
  • All dubia are fed fresh fruits and vegetables as well as a superfood chow produced here. (This is the chow you will receive with your order)
  • I operate the business, so when you reach out you will be dealing with me. My other employees consists of large dogs, however they are terrible workers and are really only there for morale support.
  • Every purchase of Dubia will be entered into a raffle for a free giveaway after 50 sales, details on that to follow.

  • Adult Female Dubia you receive will lost likely arrive gravid (pregnant), so the colony will be off to a great start.
  • Adult dubia are freshly molted (within the last 3 months) unless otherwise noted.
  • Babies received will be newborns (1/4 inch or smaller)
  • Roach chow will arrive in a sealed package along with the starter colony.

Care

  • Breeding Dubia is fairly easy, your colony should already have pregnant females so babies will be on the way.
  • Keep the colony in room temperatures up to about 85 degrees
  • Keep them in a container with a former of ventilation (holes in the lid or a cut square with screen mesh over it).
  • Provide the Dubia with fresh oranges and the superfood chow and they will procreate readily.
  • No water is necessary they will drink the orange slices so make sure there is always fresh slices available.
  • Keep a lid on the container as males can and will fly out if they get the opportunity.
  • Allow the colony to establish itself before feeding out of it if possible.
