Description:  

Vintage/ Antique horse brass measure stick concealed in cane walking stick

Appears as a sectional cane, pommel handle stick with brass ferrule. The top unscrews and a brass square sided measure stick is revealed. This can be pulled up and a further brass arm opens out from the body to enable straight measuring

There are measurements embossed on the brass. 

Also the stick is stamped with 'Jacobs - 32 Cockspur Street, London'

Probably late Victorian/ Early Edwardian

Dimensions:  Approx 39 inches long(please see photos)

Condition: Please study the photographs as they form part of the description. 

There is a split on both the pommel handle and the shaft but the brass thread is solid within this. The pommel handle does screw on but is not flush.
