Antique French Creamware Coffee Can and Saucer
Beautiful French creamware coffee can and saucer, transfer printed in monochrome with 3 scenes and captions.
The Le renard ot les raisins (Fox and the grapes), L'Efant et le matre decote (the child and the rating)? and Le cuisiner et le cirne ( Cook ???).
It carries a very faintly impressed hard to make out GIR or HD ? and no 3 which I haven't been able to trace.
There are signs of previous use, it is an antique item and has already had a long life small flat chip under saucer..
