For sale is this immaculate vinyl LP of NICK DRAKE - BRYTER LAYTER on Island Records 1971. This stunning copy is the 2013 Island Records 180g reissue with textured sleeve, pink rim labels and blue/green inner sleeve. The catalogue number is 0602537347551. The weight of the disc is 191g. The matrices are:

Side One:     BC26284-0-  A2     Side Two:     BC26284--0-  B2    ii

Condition*:

Sleeve  - The textured sleeve is in true Near Mint (NM) condition, more or less as new. The inner sleeve is also near mint.

Disc - The disc is graded NM. Perfect in ordinary light. Under the closest possible scrutiny in direct sunlight there are a couple of extremely light surface marks consistent with paper extraction. Imperfections: There is a tiny snag on the edge of the Side One label and a minute scuff across the run-in groove only that I think are both manufacturing flaws. They are both pictured. The disc has been played through from start to finish and plays faultlessly. I suspect it had never been played before. Overall a near perfect copy of this wonderful record.

If this item interests you why not have a look at my other listings? At the time of listing I have several other NICK DRAKE items for sale, some of them very rare, including 1st Press vinyl and 1st Issue cassettes.

*Please note: Grading vinyl is a highly subjective thing. For this reason I have given a detailed description of all the flaws I was able to see or hear. I am not a professional. I am just selling a small number of records. I have given an honest appraisal based on careful visual inspection and thorough play testing. I do try to describe all significant faults and where possible photograph them and I certainly won't intentionally hide anything. Please read the description carefully, look at the pictures and make your own mind up. The grading scale I have used  goes from G to NM with VG+ as par. In other words: Good (G), Very Good (VG), Very Good+ (VG+), Excellent (EX) and Near Mint (NM). Anything better than that would be Mint and would be listed as new. Anything worse than Good I probably wouldn't be selling.
