A definite must-have for all Racers, Track day riders, and those that want a little extra bling on their bikes. Not only do they look great on the bike but they can assist in protecting your tank from damage in the event of a drop/accident.

Carbon Tank Sliders - Installation instructions
1. Before fitting, set the bike up in a clean dust-free area.
2. Make sure the area on the tank where the tank covers are to be fitted is completely clean and free from grease, wax, and other contaminants by cleaning thoroughly with a paint-safe solvent such as Brake Clean.
3. Test fit the tank covers so that you know exactly where they are going to fit and how they will line up on the tank.
4. Install the covers one at a time. Using a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting carefully heat the application area and the adhesive tape on the rear of the cover so that it is warm, almost hot to the touch. Be careful not to overheat.
5. Once the tank and the adhesive tape in the cover have been warmed, carefully peel the sticker paper from the rear of the tank cover and mount it carefully to your tank and press hard.
6. Make sure that the covers are stuck on permanently and have a strong bond to the tank. If the covers are not sticking this can be fixed, but if the cover falls off and is damaged there is no warranty for this.

Please note: If you have problems with the tank covers not sticking to your bike you may need 3M 94 Adhesion Promoter. In some cases, contaminants left on the bike, such as silicon or wax polish can cause major problems with tank covers not adhering correctly. 3M 94 Primer creates a super-strong bond between your tank's paintwork and the cover's adhesive tape and the tank surface.

Please note: The tank side trim covers/sliders pictured on the bike are fitted to a Yamaha R6 08-16 tank. The remaining images are of the actual carbon fibre tank side trim covers/sliders being ordered.

WARRANTY
We do not provide a warranty against poor fitting, and or in conditions where grease, wax, or other contaminants have not been sufficiently removed prior to fitting and have caused loss of adhesion where the tank side trim covers/sliders fall off.

SHIPPING DELAYS DUE TO PANDEMIC: Please note that Aust Post are suffering from long delays due to Lock Downs and Limited Workforce. We will not be held responsible for postage delays caused by Pandemic restrictions. Ebay delivery estimation times are 100% incorrect and do not take into account delays caused by the pandemic. If you want your items delivered quickly please order with EXPRESS POST. If you order with regular shipping service or surface mail you will NEED TO BE PATIENT as delivery times may be 1 to 4 weeks.

All items are normally shipped within 24 hours or first business day of purchase.
Please note: where possible we ship using Australia Post. A signature is not normally required with Australia Post shipments, however some large and/or bulky items may require a signature. If you are not going to be home and want your item left without signature, please leave instructions with us "Authority to leave" and a suggested safe location to leave the item that is easily accessible by the postal delivery worker. If you choose this option we will not be responsible for items that go missing.
Please note: some smaller low value items such as Dzus Fasteners, Swingarm Spools and gloves we ship via regular Surface Mail that does not have tracking. We do this to save our customers money on higher postal fees for tracked services. If you require tracking on your order then please feel free to pay the extra shipping cost for an express service with tracking. Otherwise please remain patient and allow enough time for your order to arrive via regular surface mail shipping.
Please note: some orders in "non metro" locations that are shipped via Aust Post Regular Shipping can take up to 10 working days to be delivered regardless of what Ebay or Australia Post say on their shipping estimations. Whilst we always ship our orders in a timely manner, delays due to Aust Post slow shipping can happen. If you are in a non metro area we advise that you select an express shipping option if you require the item to be delivered quickly.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

If you are shipping an item from us in Australia to an international location please keep in mind that there may be import taxes and duty charges that you may be required to pay when the item arrives in your country before the item is released to you from your local customs. You need to make sure you are aware of any import taxes and/or duties applicable to your order before you purchase.
We are not responsible for any import taxes or duty fees you may be charged by your local government, or delays in delivery times caused by your local customs holding shipments until duties are paid.

Some things to note:

If you order after 2pm, then your order will be shipped the following business day.
Items that are in stock are subject to same day dispatch if ordered before 2pm.
Weekends and public holidays don't count! Any order placed on a weekend or public holiday cannot be shipped until the following business day.
We are human, if we make a mistake we will go out of our way to fix it for you as quickly as possible.

If you receive merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, PLEASE CONTACT US within 30 days, we will work it out for you.

Any item that is ordered incorrectly by the buyer can be returned for exchange or refund at the buyer's request and expense, as long as it is returned in the condition that it was received, in the original packaging, unopened, with tags. If the item was incorrectly ordered, we will refund you the original amount minus our shipping costs to you and a $5.00 restocking fee.

Items that are faulty, damaged or miss-picked by us (wrong size, colour, etc) will be replaced at our expense.

All items returned for refund or exchange must be returned in the original condition with tags attached (unless faulty). Any packaged goods must be returned with the packaging in its original condition or may not be accepted (unless faulty). Please see the list below for things to avoid ensuring your return is accepted

Please use due diligence in checking hard parts for correct fitment before removing from the packaging. Items, such as chains will not be accepted once they have been removed from their clear plastic packages. You should usually be able to compare the new item with old/broken item while it is still in the manufacturers packaging. We do understand that this is unavoidable in some circumstances.

Please ensure all returned clothing items are free from marks, stains and rips as they may not be accepted for return if received damaged (unless faulty).
