Relentlessly under attack, the U-96 is forced to unheard-of depth, the creaking hole threatening to collapse and crush the panicked sailors. The Boat delivers an amazingly accurate account of Germany's elite U-Boat crewman, as it deliberately hammers away at the tragic waste of war.
