This is a full sheet (4 blocks of 100) of 2-cent stamps printed from the original De La Rue plates... in1926. The plates were sent to England during the Civil war where the stamps would be printed and then shipped to the Confederacy for use. However, the war concluded before any stamp were printed. The plated remained in a London museum until 1926 when they were discovered. A limited number were then printed from the original plates.
