Scarce / Hard to Find 5" fruit / dessert bowls gold line with gold daisies garland pattern in the Century shape! Beautiful Ivory Vellum Glaze with Gold Lines and the Gold Trim Garland & Gold Flowers Decal. This is the epitome of Art Deco Style, Simple Elegance, and highly desirable. This listing is for the fruit bowls with the middle sunburst on the bottom of the bowls with the garland trim and gold edge line. This is truly an important piece for the Homer Laughlin Collector - this is the Century Ivory Vellum Glaze. The Century shape was developed in 1930. On February 2, 1931, Frederick Rhead noted in his journal: Finished modeling Century Square shape with Vellum glaze. Samples shown at Pittsburgh show in January. Numerous trails of Vellum were made in the then new Century shape as well as Wells.

Measurements 5" wide and 1-1/4" deep.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Very clean and bright pieces - no cracks or crazing. Very small nicks/fleabites on the underside of two of bowls. Gold lines are super clean, do not appear to have much wear or handling or use - gold decal is in bright and shiny. Very few factory production imperfections such as glaze skips, glaze pops, sand bumps. Little to no utensil wear. Great condition overall. See all pictures.
