For sale is this scarce vintage cassette of JONI MITCHELL - FOR THE ROSES on Asylum Records 1972. As per discogs this is a genuine circa 1972 UK 1st Issue cassette of this wonderful Joni Mitchell album. It has a classic "Gold Top" in lay with 7212 DP which denotes that it was manufactured in December 1972 by the Data Packaging Corporation. The cassette has white paper labels. This example appears to be a former library copy - it has library catalogue number stickers on the cover and top of the tape shell. It also has a misplaced library stamp on the reverse of the inlay dating from later in the 70s.

Condition is good: The case is VG with medium wear. The inlay is VG with light wear. The cassette is G+ with signs of handling and rippling/bubbling to the paper labels. The original pressure pad is in tact. This tape has been tested and plays well - a lovely scarce 1st Issue cassette of this gorgeous Joni mitchell album.

Please note: This cassette is more than 50 years old. Cassettes of this age are very fragile and should only ever be played with extreme caution on properly maintained equipment. You play this cassette at your own risk.
