The opal is classified as 'black' but wanders into the ocean of navy blue with a bright deep red fire. We've included a variety of light settings from normal room dimness to outdoor sunlight. The ring appears blue-black and red overall but tilted at an angle there are more fiery hues to admire. The opal is a 2.5 carat Australian Doublet that is an unusual 'east to west' setting and measure in at 12mm by 10mm. The opal is set into its highly polished gents' band with an open table underneath, a built raised diadem that lifts the opal up slightly to catch the light and then slowly tapers down around the back of the finger to allow full use of your hands.

There is something architecturally appealing about this design. It is svelte and at times, a flirt as it winks.
