Large Crown Devon Fieldings Blush Ivory Wash Bowl

Lovely hand coloured large wash bowl featuring an attractive multi coloured flower bouquet with strings of bells and beads - Known as blush ware due to the subtle wash of green and beige colours on the edges - Gold gilt rim and detailing 

Produced by S Fielding & Co, Devon Pottery, Stoke, Staffordshire

Pattern registration of 524189 dates to 1909 - This bowl was produced between c1913  when the words 'Crown Devon' or 'Devon' were added to the backstamp to 1917 when the initials 'SF & Co' was generally removed from the mark

Size - 14cm (5.5") high and 40cm (15.75") across top rim to rim

Weight - 3kg

Condition - This bowl is in great solid / sound condition - It has a very fine 3cm hairline from a knock to the rim - Old chip to the base rim - Couple of minor knocks to the rim edge - No other damage - No crazing - Very little wear - See photos
