From Wiki-
"Leonar was the brand name for cameras and photographic material made by the Leonar-Werke Arndt & Löwengard in Wandsbek near Hamburg, Germany from 1907[1] onwards. Before that it was called Dr. Lüttke & Arndt. In the 1910s the Leonar cameras were equipped with Leonar or Ibso shutters and Leonar Extra Rapid Aplanat or Leonar Doppel-Anastigmat lenses. In 1964 the company was incorporated into the German Agfa AG."

This is a very nice example of this rare camera. Minus some dust from sitting for sometime, this camera shows little use and wear. The shutter fires at all speeds and is accurate, including T and B settings. The aperture is adjusting smoothly, and the blades are very clean and oil free. The lens looks clean and clear minus the need for some cleaning, and it appears that both front and rear elements are removable for cleaning. The leather of the bellows is supple and not dried or cracked, although they have not been tested for light tightness. The leather covering is intact and it excellent condition. The camera slides in and out on its rails as it should, and the back slides off smoothly as well. With a little polishing, this camera would be really fun for landscape stills, but also a beautiful display. I am throwing an old KW film pack adapter that I had laying around, perhaps some inventive person could convert it into a film back.

Thank you for stopping by~

***PLEASE BE ADVISED***

With Ebay's elimination of stand alone Paypal for sellers, it now takes double and triple the time for your payments to reach our accounts, which can delay shipping times. With stand alone Paypal, we were payed immediately, and had immediate access to those funds, and therefore able to process your order in a timely manner. With ebay's "managed payments" system for sellers, Ebay takes up to 2 days just to "process" your payment through their new system (yet another money grab), and then it can take another 3 to 5 days to reach our accounts, as they now force sellers to give them direct access to our bank accounts, and our banks have to also process the payment.  Please do not penalize sellers for this issue.
