Arthur Ian Lavender (16 February 1946 – 2 February 2024) was an English stage, film and television actor. He was best known for his role as Private Pike in the BBC sitcom Dad's Army, and was the last surviving main cast member of the series following the death of Frank Williams (who played the vicar) in 2022.
