SLOVENIA 1 EURO KAŠAR UNC SPECIAL EDITION FROM ŽIROVNICA 1998 RARE Original banknotes. The municipality of Žirovnica is the cradle of culture in the Republic of Slovenia. In the past, a large number of men important to Slovenes came from the area of this municipality, including poet France Prešeren, linguist Matija Čop, beekeeper Anton Janša, writers Janez Jalen and Fran Saleški Finžgar, as well as Ljubljana bishop Janez Zlatoust Pogačar and the first Ljubljana archbishop Anton Vovk. The banknote was made for the Independent list of candidates for the mayor of Radovljica 1998 and represents a bee (Kranjska sivka - apis mellifica carnica). It is an autochthonous breed of bee that originally lived in almost the entire Slovenian ethnic area. It is distinguished by its diligence, meekness, calmness, resistance to diseases and harsh climates, thriftiness with food and rapid spring development. It is very prolific, and this ensures its survival even in today's increasingly threatened conditions. Today, precisely because of these properties, Carnivoran lavender is widespread in most neighboring countries and on all continents.

Original paper, full original colors. Crisp banknotes, no pinholes or paper splits, no folds, no creases...
