This is a contemporary science-fiction tale set against the backdrop of glittering new-wave Manhattan. Anne Carlisle plays an androgynous model who surrounds herself with a group of odd characters; the dope dealing roommate, the actor who rapes her, the junkie model who detest her and the fashion crew that will push anything to achieve a dramatic effect.

Carlisle serves as the primary attraction for a UFO which lands atop her penthouse in search of the chemical nourishment that her sexual encounters provide. The look of the film is stunning and futuristic, from the neon lights and rosy-toned towers of New York to the grotesque costumes and intense images that take over the screen in a psychedelic way. Liquid Sky, a haunting visual experience, was created by a Russian emigre and possesses a sophisticated sense of humor.

BETA is in used, but good condition and from a smoke-free home. BETA cassette is complete and free of mold or issues, and contains various rental stickers throughout (as pictured). Case is a rental clamshell  in good condition, with a cut-box cover of the front, back and side panel, as well as various rental stickers throughout (as pictured). Due to use and storage, signs of minor wear are visible. BETA is untested. See actual photos of item above.
