Vintage 1940 custom tailored Rayon silk ruffle blouse “Girl Next Door” M

Blouse #1. Professional detail in the tailored structure, seam binding, pinked seams, hand made button holes and exquisite permanent pleat, tiny lace trim. RUFFLES. Ivory tone. Inset Dickey style rounded inset, lace trimmed ruffles. Size is S- M. Back shoulders 16”, bust 400”, length 22”, underarm seam 3/4 length 11”. Wrist ruffles run 3”:up the arm. Center front mother of pearl buttons. Ruffle 10” inset front. Finish hemline. At a few spots the tiny lace edge has been compromised, trimmed. Truly, not noticeable at all. Minor soiling in some areas, back collar. Needs a good soak and steam. Quality fabric.
