Newbold targets are now THROOM (pronounces "Thru-Em")

Self Sealing Reactive Target Kits & Parts (Plate and Base options too)

Please note the manufacturer now only makes GREEN colour so when the orange and yellow are sold out - there won't be anymore !

We are proud to offer an assortment of NEWBOLD now THROOM Self-Sealing shoot-through targets and their KD pivot bases.

NewBold Self Sealing polymer targets were the first targets of their kind, introduced back in 1995, and still set the industry standard for this kind of target.

The targets and bases are made of ElastiMAX, which is a tough, flexible, hi-tech polymer material.

This material will allow the bullet to pass through the target whole, without risk of splatter or ricochets.

However enough energy is transferred to the target to knock it over, making it a practical and fun to shoot reactive target.

After the bullet has passed through, the ElastiMAX material closes up, leaving only a pinpoint hole where the bullet has passed.

You can shoot as many as 1000 hits on a single plate with .45 caliber ammo! (and much more with smaller calibers) before the target will need replacing.

No splatter or splash make these targets ideal for use on indoor ranges, where steel targets often may not be used.

NEWBOLD targets are:

· Safer than steel – no splash or splatter – and can be used in practically all indoor shooting ranges
· Lighter than steel – weigh 7 times less than steel targets of equal size, making them easy to transport
· Time savers – with a pull of the string you can reset the target (or multiple targets) making them faster to use then paper or steel
· Totally weather proof – can be left outside without worry
· Reactive – an excellent training aid, giving immediate and positive reaction to the hit
· Fun to shoot! Just give them a try and you’ll be hooked!

Q&A:
How long will my target last?
A 6” can take up to 1000 hits with .45 FMJ ammo before needing replacement. Many more in smaller calibers.
What’s the best kind of ammo to use with these targets?
Either lead or FMJ (Ball) bullets are best. Using hollow points, wadcutters, semi-wadcutters and some flat-point rounds may shorten the life of the target Can I use rifle ammo on these targets?
Hi speed rifle ammo should be avoided, as most likely they will pass through the target too quickly to knock them over. Slower rifle rounds can be used, although these targets are primarily designed for pistol use.
Can I shoot at these targets with Pellets or BB’s?
NO! They will bounce back and can be dangerous.
Can I use them with paintball?
Yes, they react well to paintball hits, and are easy to wash off as well
Is the same KV pivot base used for all KV targets?
Yes, you can use the same base with all targets.
Why are the targets and bases sold separately?
Bases are sold separately from the targets, as since the targets are (hopefully) going to be hit much more often than the bases, it is likely you can keep and use the same base for more than one target.

A “safe to shoot at target” requires a “safe to shoot at base” as well.
Although we try to keep all our hits on the target, the base is likely to be hit more than a few times too.

These base kits are made from the same ElastiMAX material as the targets themselves, allowing the bullet to pass through them with little to no damage at all. Even the large adjustment bolt and large mounting bolts are made of this same material. Each Target Base Kit includes:
· A KD Pivot target base (suitable for any size target)
· A large ElasiMAX adjustment bolt which allows you to set the weight of the target to your needs
· 2 large ElastiMAX mounting bults and nuts which can be used to mount the target to a stand
· 4 screws which can be used to mount the base to a wooden stand (can be used instead of the ElastiMAX mounting bolts)
· 15m long string for resetting the targets.

These bases are sold separately from the targets, as since the targets are (hopefully) going to be hit much more often than the bases, it is likely you can keep and use the same base for more than one target.

L Series:

Newbold’s Auto-Reset L-Series Targets mount on soft wood 2x4s, 2x3s and 1x6s. With each hit they snap back and then auto-reset to the upright position. There is no need to go down-range to reset this target. One-piece L-Series targets have a flexible hinge at the base made of ElastiMAX™, the same polymer material as the target, so bullets pass thru the target andthe hinge. For an entirely different reaction, remove the bolts to knock the L-Series Target completely off the stand.

Self-Sealing Reactive Target L-Series 10" Round, Red

Newbold’s Auto-Reset 10" L-Series Target mounts on soft wood 2X4s, 2X3s and 1X6s. With each hit this target snaps back and then auto-resets to the upright position. There is no need to go down-range to reset this 10" L-Series target. The one-piece 10" L-Series target has a flexible hinge at the base made of ElastiMAX™, the same polymer material as the target, so bullets pass thru the target and the hinge. For an entirely different reaction, remove the bolts to knock the 10" L-Series Target completely off the stand.

Self-Sealing Reactive Target L-Series 6" Round

NEWBOLD L-Series Self-Sealing brought to you by Double-Alpha - Self-Setting shoot-through targets. These L-Series targets rock/bend back when hit, and then snap back upright due to their built-in hinge. No need to go down range to reset! A target and base in ONE!

KD - Knock Down Series:

Newbold's Knock-Down KD-Pivot Reactive Target and the Pivot Base it mounts on are each sold separately. When mounted on the Pivot Base and hit, this KD Pivot Target reacts and falls over backwards. It stays down until you reset it manually or by pulling on a string. Bullets pass through the KD target and the Pivot Base because they are both made of ElastiMAX™, our tough, flexible, self-sealing polymer. To mount a KD target on its Pivot Base, you simply snap it into place. Then secure the Pivot Base to your soft wood target stand with (4) wood screws or with (2) ElastiMAX™ Nuts & Bolts. For a different experience with the KD Series Targets, mount the KD Base upside down for swinging action and automatic reset or remove the target from the KD Base and hang from a wire.

NewBold Alpha Stand Set of two Brackets - Orange or Green Colour

Newbold’s Alpha Stand is an innovative set of target stand brackets that can be assembled in under a minute and are shoot through safe and ricochet free.

These light weight brackets require no metal fasteners or hardware and make it simple and easy to transport your target stand to and from the range.

Compatible with just about any length 2x4s (lumber sold separately) the Alpha Stand can be assembled any length from 2’ – 8’ long with two brackets and as long at 16’ with a third bracket.

This fully customisable stand is super strong and ultra-durable so it can take the hits just like our Newbold Targets.

If the Alpha Stand is hit the bullet will pass through the material leaving minimal damage and will not bounce back to the firing line as seen with other steel target stand brackets. At 2 ½ lbs each – The Alpha Stand is the safest, most light weight and durable target stand on the market.

Must purchase 2x4s separately to assemble target stand.

One 3’ tall x 8’ long Newbold Alpha Stand requires (3) 2x4x8s. (1) eight-foot 2x4 for a crossbeam and (2) eight-foot 2x4s cut in half to make (4) legs for the stand.

Once assembled you may mount any Newbold Target to your stand using Newbold’s Long Throom™ Nuts and Bolts to completely eliminate bullet splatter or ricochet from the stand, targets or mounting accessories.

TWO Brackets only - does not include timber or any targetry items.  B&Q has this size timber in UK.
