Actual original 1922 black and white sepia toned photograph from the February 8, 1922 Stowe, Vermont Winter Carnival.

The photo shows a main downtown Stowe street and historic buildings, plus in the foreground, a huge converted tractor, or locomotive, made into a snowmobile, and pulling two even bigger sleds, or sledges, or barges, weighing tons, and packed with dozens of revelers along for the adventure.

This image would make wonderful Stowe posters, postcards, and greeting cards to sell in downtown Stowe shops, and for sale all over Vermont. The vintage photo has bends, creases, a missing corner, a red mark beneath the behemoth, and has smudges as shown. It is clear enough that some faces, if contemporary, might be recognized.

The snowmobile itself is a fabulous curiosity and earns great (and humorous) bragging rights.

Measures about 3X5 inches.

Would make a great gift for a local store owner or business recovering from the recent flooding that has struck Vermont, and perhaps could help boost local economies.
