SCARCE PIECE!

The publication is softcover, cord bound, and measures 11" x 8" with approximately 31 unnumbered pages filled with photos some of the mansions and gardens surrounding Lake Geneva. The piece contains sepia colored photographs throughout.

It also contains a condensed history of Lake Geneva. There are photos of sail boats and the annual race in August for Sheridan Cup. There are a couple of pages devoted to summer sports including swimming, canoeing and fishing. The center page is a double page detailed map of the shores of the lake, and also with photos the vessels used by the Wisconsin Transportation Company for their tours of Lake Geneva. There is a page devoted to College Camp (YMCA), and also some photos of Olivet Camp, Holiday Home, Conference Point Camp, Eleanor Camp and Northwestern Military and Naval Academy. There is a page devoted to Yerkes Observatory. Golf Courses and winter sports are also represented. The city of Lake Geneva is covered. At the back there is a directory of home owners around the shores of Lake Geneva in various subdivisions, villages and other places. The last page lists transportation lines, hotels, organizations, clubs, camps, subdivisions, churches, golf courses, restaurants and refreshment headquarters.


This is is really an advertising piece for the Wisconsin Transportation Company that offered boat tours of the lake.

This piece in good condition with edge wear. The cord binding has some fraying along the edges.
